USD 415 and Hiawatha Police Department are hereby providing early notification of an upcoming change regarding parking and pick-up protocol at Hiawatha Middle School.
“No Parking” signs (see below) will soon be present on the west side of Morrill Avenue by HMS. These extend from Longfellow Street south to Iowa Street. This will be in effect during school days from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. Parking will be available in the north and south parking lots. There will also be limited parking along the east curb of Morrill Avenue directly south of the bus loading zone.
We understand this may present some inconvenience. USD 415 and Hiawatha Police Department thank you for your understanding and patience as we seek to make school dismissal at HMS as safe as possible.
