Dear Parent/Guardian of HHS Remote Learner:
Remote learning starts this week! We are excited to get going!
You should have received a phone call from the high school regarding the process of picking up your student’s textbooks and/or laptop. Your student should also be receiving emails from their teachers with details on how their class will look via remote learning.
Students will be invited to and should accept their google classroom invitation on the first day of their class.
Reminder, remote learners must complete a minimum of six hours of learning activities per school day. Weekly logs need to be turned in to Amanda Hinton at the high school office by the following Monday. Logs can be emailed or turned in hard copy. Additional logs can be printed at our website:

Another requirement of the remote learning option is daily contact. Your high schooler will be contacted each school day by their advisory teacher.
If your student is interested in school lunches, please access that form here:

If you have any questions regarding google classroom, please visit the following link:
Please make sure your contact information is current in PowerSchool. It is crucial that we have a working email address, as well as phone number for all parents/guardians. Communication with your child’s teachers will be crucial for ensuring successful learning for our students.
If you have any questions, please call the HHS office at 785-742-3312.
Sincerely,
Lori Fordyce
Principal
