Hello Red Hawk Parents and/or Guardians,
As we dive into our sixth week of continuous learning, I want to give you a “virtual high five” for all of your support and efforts in working with your students. We realize that you were thrown into unknown territory, uncertain of how all of this “online” learning would look, work, and feel. Please know that we are working diligently behind the scenes to support your efforts, but can also relate to some of your frustrations. Hold your head high and reaffirm that you will/are doing your very best.
As time nears towards our 8th grade promotion ceremony, we know that alternative plans must be made due to the current situation facing us. In order to recognize our 8th grade students moving onto high school, we will be recording a promotion ceremony through the use of videos and pictures. The recognition ceremony viewing will be available on the Rainbow Communications community channel for the public, as well as accessible on Rainbow Live for family members living out of the area. In addition, the video will be emailed to each 8th grade student for his/her availability to download. There will be additional details released as we approach May 18th.
Again, thank you for your continued support of our school district and teachers. We miss your students greatly and desire to be back in the classroom watching them learn and grow!
Best Regards,
Mrs. Gatz, HMS Principal
